The TB LAM (Lipoarabinomannan) Lateral Flow Assay (LFA) is a rapid diagnostic test designed for detecting Lipoarabinomannan (LAM), a mycobacterial antigen present in the urine of individuals with active tuberculosis (TB), especially in those with HIV co-infection or advanced TB. This test is commonly used in low-resource settings to diagnose pulmonary and extra-pulmonary TB.
